Diresco, the Oudsbergen-based producer of construction materials made of mineral composite, won the award for Most Innovative Surface at a trade fair in Las Vegas. This enhances the brand recognition and reputation of the Limburg-based family concern that gained significant ground in the American market last year.
Diresco is the company owned by the Schelfhout family. Manufactured mineral composite sheets that are turned into kitchen worktops, shower walls, windowsills, stairs, façade cladding, and much more. Particular technology is applied to protect against damage and degeneration.
A few weeks ago the Oudsbergen-based company participated in the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show, a large industry trade fair in Las Vegas with around 600 exhibitors and 30,000 professional visitors. Each year a number of awards across various categories are handed out. One of those – the most innovative surface- went to Diresco.
This distinction will advance our headway into the American market. “Thanks to distributor partnerships we are making great progress already”, says CEO Jos Bongers. “This resulted in our market share doubling in the 2018 financial year, enabling us to stand shoulder to shoulder with a few of the key market players. We mean to continue along this path, and look forward to what 2019 has to offer.”
