How does full-body make a difference within our collection?
At Diresco, full-body represents an important next step in our innovation processes. We have already applied this technology to the following three designs in our latest Sublime collection:
With the standard versions of these sublimated composite panels, the visual pattern was mainly confined to the surface. The development of our full-body composite has changed this. From now on, we can extend the colours and nuances in these Sublime designs right through the entire cross-section of the material, including at the edges and in cut-outs.
The result is a much more natural appearance, in which all visual details are shown to their full effect, even when the material is being processed or finished.
Combined with our bookmatch technology, which allows us to extend our designs naturally across very large surfaces, this latest technological innovation offers a host of exciting new possibilities.
Added value for designers, fabricators and users alike
The added value of full-body composite therefore lies primarily in the details. Consider a kitchen island where the ends and sides of the worktop have exactly the same look as the surface.
